New Horror Streaming Service, Shudder, Now in Beta Testing Stage

Shudder posterAMC has begun an invite-only beta test of its new horror service called SHUDDER. This is a brand new beta-streaming service that features more than two hundred horror movies ranging from the classics to more modern offerings in the genre.

So what’s the difference between SHUDDER and, say, Hulu Plus? The movies on SHUDDER are the full-length versions, and they are ad-free. AMC’s goal is to eventually launch SHUDDER on a number of various TV streaming devices.

According to Uproxx.com, AMC is slated to launch Shudder.TV this Halloween and will air a non-stop schedule of horror films for two weeks, just like “Monster Fest” does around Halloween each year. Once Shudder.TV launches, it’ll be available on its website, iOS, Android, and Roku devices.
